2.13 Debugging: Performing Step Simulation Active-HDL gives users the option to utilize more debugging commands by enabling Debug mode either through the GUI or through the command line with the -dbg argument in compilation. This mode includes the option to perform step simulation where the user can debug their design by stepping through their source code one executable HDL statement at a time.
