3.7 3rd Party Flows: Simulating Efinix IP and Designs with Active-HDL

As of Efinity 2025.2, Efinix has added the ability to run a simulation in Active-HDL’s GUI through its tool flow, and Active-HDL has recently added simulation library support for Efinity 2025.2 with its latest Active-HDL 17 release. These two can integrate well with each other, creating a robust flow that allows users to use Efinity with Active-HDL as the simulator or use Active-HDL’s IDE to simulate and run Efinity’s design flow through the Design Flow Manager. This video will demonstrate how to simulate an Efinity IP and design through each of these flows.
