Error while loading shared libraries: libtyphoon.so:cannot restore segment prot after reloc:Permission denied

Description

By default, when Riviera-PRO is installed on a Linux platform such as CentOS, the SELinux feature is set to enforcing mode. As a result, users may encounter the above error message when executing the rungui command.

Solution

To temporarily disable enforcement on a running system, type the following:

/usr/sbin/setenforce 0

To permanently disable this feature during system startup:

  1. Open the /etc/selinux/config configuration file.

  2. Change SELINUX to disabled e.g. SELINUX=disabled

  3. Reboot
