HES-DVM Proto CE License Request

HES-DVM Proto CE is a cloud edition of Aldec’s successful HES-DVM product used for design compilation and partitioning into multi-FPGA prototyping platform. Here, you can request your own license for use in Amazon AWS Cloud with Aldec HES-DVM Proto CE AMI available in AWS Marketplace.

HES-DVM Proto CE Overview

Due to the size of today’s SoC designs, the prototyping boards must contain multiple, large FPGA devices and the design has to be partitioned and then interconnected. Not only the design has to be split into blocks so that each of them matches one FPGA, but also the user has to arrange interconnections between them using physical I/Os and traces available on the board. This process, if done without support of electronic design automation tools would be challenging, time consuming and error prone.

Aldec HES-DVM Proto CE contains all necessary automation to assist in your multi-FPGA prototype setup and provide fast-track for multi-FPGA prototyping. The HES-DVM Cloud Edition can be used for prototypes containing up to four (4) FPGAs on Aldec HES boards or third party custom board and provides the following key features.

Key Features

  • Fast compilation and synthesis engine for VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL
  • Fully automatic and user-guided partitioning
  • Board-level automatic partitions placement and routing
  • Automatic physical interconnections with SERDES and LVDS support
  • Support for largest Xilinx Virtex UltraScale+, UltraScale and Virtex-7 FPGAs
  • Custom board compiler for third-party or in-house developed FPGA boards
  • Impact analysis tool for quick evaluation of partitioning scenarios
  • Logic optimization and replication
  • Gated clocks conversion
  • Board-level critical path reporting
  • Managing timing constraints
