Applications Engineer

Job Responsibilities
Aldec's Active-HDL mixed VHDL-Verilog simulation products are growing in excess of 50% per year and are used by thousands of FPGA designers. The Applications Engineer will provide training and product demonstrations to users and potential customers. He or she will need to be proficient in developing application notes and providing email/phone technical support.
Job Requirements
Good knowledge of FPGA tools and architectures. Working knowledge of HDL (Verilog and VHDL). Self starter with excellent communication/presentation skills. Information System Programmer

Job Responsibilities
Team member to create server-based website applications. Will develop scripts and programs utilizing SQL databases, server farms, website and security tools.
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Minimum of three years of programming experience in system development. Programming experience in SQL, HTML, and web server applications and good working knowledge of Unix, Linux and Windows operating systems. Must understand data relational model, database and SQL coding.
Support Engineer

Job Responsibilities
Support Engineers are responsible for timely resolution of customer issues and proactive contributions to the corporation in the areas of tool improvement. The Support Engineer's responsibilities will include working directly with customers, gaining a full understanding of customer issues, and successfully driving those issues to full customer satisfaction, either through independent work or by interfacing with other R&D Engineers. Support Engineers are responsible for identifying frequent customer issues and proactively communicating these issues to R&D to make tool improvements. Support Engineers are also responsible for identifying common usage questions and extending the current customer knowledge base by writing articles for inclusion in the website knowledge database.
Job Requirements
Requirements include 1 + years of experience in the areas of Digital Design or Technical Support, exposure and knowledge of Design Automation Software, VHDL or Verilog. BSEE/MSEE or BS/MS in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Computer and Information Scientist, Research

Job Responsibilities
Specify, design and develop internet software solutions; conduct research into fundamental computer and information science as theorist and designer; invent internet based real-time embedded system resources for company marketing; maintain software features.
Job Requirements
Must have knowledge of and 2+ years experience in VHDL, Verilog. MS or foreign academic equivalent in CS, CE.
