[BDE] Error loading the file, error in .cpp file

Description

Users can encounter the above error if a BDE project that was created using an older version of Active-HDL is being opened in Active-HDL 9.2 or later.

Solution

Save the diagram.dll file in the Active-HDL9.2SP1 Update1/bin folder. When the old BDE file is opened, users will need to save the file before performing compilation.

NOTES:

  1. Once the BDE file is saved in Active-HDL 9.2, it cannot be reverted back to the older version. If users would like to be able to open the BDE file in older versions, it is recommended to save a copy before saving the file in the newer version.

  2. To save the diagram.dll file, users will need to log in to the website.
