Does HES-DVM provide a scripting interface?

HES-DVM has both GUI and scripting interface. The graphical interface is built upon flow tabs that reflect the actual design preparation stage, which makes the software intuitive. The GUI contains many handy features like design structure browser and finder, hardware resources control and display, toolbar, object context menus, and so on.

HES-DVM can be also run in batch mode (without GUI), where the entire functionality is available through a scripting interface. The HES-DVM scripting interface is based on standard TCL language with additional HES-DVM functionality related commands.

The HES-DVM GUI operations are synchronized with a console. Each operation evoked in GUI is echoed in the console as an equivalent command. This allows a quick script generation by saving the transcript console tab.
