Design Browser Window Disappeared

Description

The dockable toolbox made the design browser window go away.

Solution

Change the Design Browser to a standalone window by going to Tools | Preferences | Windows | Design Browser. Under the Type column, select Document window - standalone from the drop down box.

1. Close Active-HDL

2. Execute file in Aldec install folder /BIN/prefman.exe

3. Set default

4. Exit

5. reopen Active-HDL

6. Design Browser restored and viewable
