I received a license file by email from Aldec - Is this all I need for the software to work?

No. In order to use Aldec software a physical USB keylock is required. This is shipped separately. If you require immediate access to the software at the time of purchase please ask for a temporary license. Note: if a floating license was purchased and the license server is UNIX based a USB keylock will not be shipped and the license you have will work

Evaluation and Industry licenses typically do not utilize keylocks and based on Mac Addresses. All license of this type are temporary and should not be used for commercial work.

Renewals: If you are renewing an existing license (Example extended maintenance contract) the license file will work with your existing keylock or Unix license serve and nothing new will be shipped.
