What versions of Xilinx Foundation schematics are supported in Active-HDL?

Solution

• Active-HDL 14, 32 bit and Windows OS 10, 32 bit version support designs from the legacy Xilinx Foundation Series. User must download and install

  • Active-HDL 14 x32 main setup.exe

  • Active-HDL 14 x32 acad setup.exe

• Once the designs have been imported into Active-HDL 14, then the user can use Active-HDL newer versions (64 bit) to retarget the designs for new devices.

Schematics from Xilinx Foundation which are done in View Logic can be imported into Active-HDL and maintained as an Aldec Block Diagram.

Some earlier versions (pre-Foundation, 1.x series) of Xilinx schematics, are not supported by the import feature.
