Launching ModelSim from Active-HDL

Can I somehow launch ModelSim simulator from Active-HDL?

Solution

It is possible to define and add any tool into Active-HDL’s Tool menu. Please go to Tools | Preferences | Environment | Tools to set up the ModelSim executable file link.

You can also execute any command program from Active-HDL console by “runexe” or “!” command
