How to open and make changes to a legacy Active-CAD design ?

Solution

You can import your legacy design only into Active-HDL 12.0 or older by selecting File | Import | Active-CAD Project from the main menu.

Once import is done, you will have a set of .bde files created from your old project.

You can modify, simulate, synthesize, etc, these files.
