How do I set the grid length in the waveform viewer to a number that is not an integer such as 5.208333 ns?

Solution

Grid Length sets the distance between the grid lines in the Standard Waveform Editor window.

Real numbers can’t be used to specify the grid length in Active-HDL. The value has to be integer. In order to change the grid length to 5.208333ns you should specify, e.g. 5208333fs.
