University Program Overview

Aldec, Inc. is offering certified Educational Facilities access to an EDU Editions and Student Edition of its professional Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software tools.The University Program makes Aldec's Active-HDL and Riviera-PRO tools available based on a limited set of features and performance in the newly released EDU Edition.

These product configurations are only available for class room use and require letter of certification stating the purpose of use on letterhead from the respective University.

University and Educational customers seeking to purchase Active-HDL, Riviera-PRO or ALINT standard products for research applications must do so outside of the Educational program, by contacting their local sales representatives.

Pricing and Availability

Educational Editions of Active-HDL and Riviera-PRO are sold directly from Aldec and are one year time-based licenses. All configurations are mixed language and support mixed simulation of VHDL and Verilog.

Free Active-HDL Student Edition

Aldec's Active-HDL Student Edition is a mixed language design entry and simulation tool offered at no cost by Aldec to the students to use during their course work.
